Ji Xia, P.E., S.E.
Founder & Principal

Licensed Civil Engineer (CA license #89014)
Ji graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Buffalo, one of the most prestigious Structural Engineering graduate programs with an emphasis on earthquake engineering. His impeccable personal commitment to his clients and successes on high-profile projects allowed him to pursue his ambitions of starting his own firm. Thus, Everest Engineering is born.
Ji has over a decade of experience in structural engineering design, evaluation, and retrofitting of buildings. He worked on over 300+ various projects over his career, including large apartment complexes, high-rise buildings, and high-end custom homes.
He has a creative mind, and his leadership in developing innovative and economical engineering solutions has been instrumental to many successful projects.
William Guo
Project Manager
William joined Everest Engineering as a project manager in 2021, bringing expertise in adaptive reuse and commercial projects, as well as multifamily and mixed-use developments. With over 15 years of engineering experience in both North America and the Asian Pacific, William treats clients' projects with focused care and attention to detail. He is responsible for structural concepts and design in the firm.
Steve Li, E.I.T.
Project Engineer
Steve joined Everest Engineering in 2021. He holds a master's degree in structural engineering. Since graduation, he has worked in multiple firms in the Los Angeles area. He has 3 years of experience in designing single-family and multi-family projects with wood and concrete structures.
Emily Ge
General Manager
Emily joined Everest Engineering in 2021. She holds a master's degree in economics from UCLA. She oversees the daily operations of our firm and makes sure it is running smoothly and effectively.
